Rubber taping workers find the mutilated body of a policewoman, raped in one of the plantations of Kottayam in South India. Ravi, an investigative officer and his team interrogates Johny and young immigrant labourers pointing to a possible suspect. When the suspect is found dead, system succumb to media pressures and politics, covering up the real culprits of rape. They leave a family to disintegrate. The investigating team from South India travels to Himalayas following the insurgents, but are taken as hostages by an young woman tribal leader Apali. An interrogation prevails. The officers of the system are made to self- enquire about rape and acquisition of land.
